Know before you go - Travel advice for Shropshire
Some of our attractions have started to reopen but do remember to check opening information before you visit.
In light of COVID-19, everyone's health and safety is the most important thing. This means despite our desire to share our beautiful county with you, we must ask everyone at this time not to make a long journey to visit us, as facilities such as public toilets are still closed. Too many visitors risk overwhelming our small historic towns and beauty spots. Please stay safe everyone.
You can get the most up-to-date information on COVID-19 in England from the UK Government website.
As an alternative to visiting in person, keep an eye on our social media channels for lots of inspiring and beautiful images of Shropshire - our way of keeping you smiling through this difficult time.
Our tourism businesses across Shropshire are all amazing, and are currently working hard to serve the local community through diversification. We are already working on plans so that together we can ensure your next trip will be one that will have lasting memories, when it's safe for everyone to do so.
We look forward to welcoming you to Shropshire very soon.
