Trustees are required to join the existing Forum Management Committee responsible for the overall running of the charity.

Trustees are required to attend a regular Management Committee meeting lasting approx 2 hours, and be available to attend some of the Forum's events and help out as required. They monitor the charity's performance and financial management, and oversee two members of staff.


Availability for meetings and events - Willingness to take part in meetings - Computer literacy - Interest in older people' s issues and commitment to the aims of the charity - Some useful or relevant experience would be welcomed but not essential, e.g. having served on a committee, worked with older people, accountancy, fundraising, event organisation, marketing etc.
