Five reasons to put Saturday 3 September in your calendar

One month today Telford Town Park will come alive as we get ready to celebrate music, food and dance from around the world at T-Picnic.

Here are five reasons why we think you should be there!

• The outdoors

The event is hosted entirely outside in Telford Town Park Arena – come rain or shine – just turn up (hopefully with your sun cream and hats) grab a spot and get set for a day of food; drinks, music and entertainment which are all on hand.

• The food

The clue’s in the name but what a better place for a picnic than the UK’s best park.

Pack a picnic or try something new from one of the many world food stalls. Or why not mix it up and do both. Don’t forget you can bring your own drinks too.

• The entertainment

This is a picnic with a difference – there’s live music, entertainment, arts, crafts, dance workshops, street theatre and not forgetting the light and pyrotechnic shows finale all taking place from 11am right up until 9pm.

• The school holidays are nearly over…

The kids are back to school next week… are you celebrating or commiserating?! Either way end the holidays in style at T-Picnic.

T-Picnic costs £1 per person, under 2s go free. Pay on the gate.
