Kids are taking over at Telford Hotel & Golf Resort and QHotels, to launch a new charity partnership with the NSPCC, bringing guests and employees together to raise £300,000 over the next three years.
As part of the partnership, Telford Hotel & Golf Resort will be hosting a number of fun and creative fundraising events, offering up different ways for guests and employees to get involved – from family activities to sporting challenges including family charity fun day on Sunday 21st August and a Charity Sky Dive in September.
The first of which will be NSPCC’s Big Board Game Day, which will feature at Telford Hotel & Golf Resort throughout summer, with a number of board game events for guests to take part in on Friday 8th July, in the hotel grounds and games room.
QHotels is also giving customers the chance to support the campaign, with the option to make a donation to the NSPCC with every online booking.
Steven Essex General Manager at Telford Hotel & Golf Resort, said: "Welcoming so many families to Telford Hotel & Golf Resort each year, meant that supporting the NSPCC was such a natural fit for QHotels.
"It’s wonderful to be able to give guests and employees at Telford Hotel & Golf Resort the opportunity to be part of such an important cause and we hope children and adults alike will enjoy the many activities on offer here this summer."
As well as fundraising, QHotels is also saying thank you to staff and volunteers of the charity, with free membership to its Breakaway Club, which offers benefits including short-break vouchers, special experiences such as complimentary afternoon tea, a bottle of wine or a late check-out.
Nigel Spencer, Acting Director of Fundraising at NSPCC, said: "I am delighted that QHotels has joined our fight for every childhood. This partnership will play a key role in keeping children safe and we are very excited to start working with QHotels’ employees and guests."
