Staff at a Midlands event venue have welcomed a new face to the sales team who brings a wealth of experience and industry skills.
Fiona Perry is the new Sales Manager at The International Centre, Telford, having previously worked in corporate sales for a football club and in the financial services industry.
She said: "I am very pleased to have joined the team here in Telford – The International Centre is a contemporary and purpose-built venue with an excellent reputation, so my new role is a fantastic opportunity.
"I am looking forward to building strong relationships with existing clients and encouraging new customers to visit and see the outstanding facilities we have to offer."
Fiona will join a growing sales team that is developing a nationwide reputation for its pro-active and fresh approach to attracting new business.
Sales and Marketing Director Alison Griffin said: "Fiona is a great addition to our team and she joins us at a very exciting time.
"Our venue, and the destination as a whole, have benefited from huge investments that have created an events campus in a convenient, welcoming, and vibrant setting.
"There is also further investment in the pipeline, so our position is only going to get stronger as we move forward.

The International Centre, Telford, is part of Southwater Event Group which also owns the Ramada Telford Ironbridge Hotel, The Holiday Inn Telford-Ironbridge, The International Hotel, an in-house catering company, and events production company StagecraftUK.
