Service Delivery Volunteers work alongside our staff teams to provide support to victims of crime helping them to move beyond crime via emotional and practical support both face to face and online.

We are looking for a volunteer with a talent or a attribute to join our team, to support vulnerable adults with developing a variety of skills and activities to enhance their learning and enjoyment opportunities. if you are an artist, have a keen eye for photography, interest in sports, have local knowledge of the area, a passion for cooking, or anything new you think you could bring to our customers including Dance, Drama, Art and music. We are looking for you. You would work along side staff to come up with ideas for projects and deliver these to groups at the Southwood Hub. We may also have rooms available to hire for personal use. You will receive the same training and support as our staff team.
An awareness of the needs vulnerable adults and adults with disabilities may have • Willing to share skills and experience with others • Someone with patience, good communication skills, willing to attend training. All volunteers would have to undertake a DBS process (criminal records check). This requires being able to supply two references and certain documentation such as a birth certificate, driving license or passport. Volunteers must be aged 18 years or over.
Southwood Hub runs daily Monday-Friday 9.00am-4.30pm. We are looking for people who can help for a minimum of half a day a week during these times. We also have a sub hub based in Newport that runs the same but on a smaller scale this is open Monday - Thursday 9am - 16:30pm.
