Service Delivery Volunteers work alongside our staff teams to provide support to victims of crime helping them to move beyond crime via emotional and practical support both face to face and online.

We are looking for a Stepping into Work volunteer to join our team, to support vunerable adults to develop work skills as part of a new exciting project to enable people in their journey towards employment. You would work alongside staff and directly with customers to support them in ways such as one to one support in work experience placements, ensuring people have that guidance to build solid work skills in areas like health and safety, following employment rules and completing tasks set. You will receive the same training and support as the rest of our team.
An awareness of the needs vulnerable adults and adults with disabilities may have • Willing to share skills and experience with others • Someone with patience, good communication skills, willing to attend training. All volunteers would have to undertake a DBS process (criminal records check). This requires being able to supply two references and certain documentation such as a birth certificate, driving license or passport. Volunteers must be aged 18 years or over.
The Skills and Enterprise Hub runs daily Monday-Friday 9.00am-4.00pm. We are looking for people who can help for a minimum of half a day a week during these times.
