Suitable for -
We are looking for a volunteer artist to join our team, to support vunerable adults with developing a variety of skills and activities to enhance their training and learning opportunitites. You would work along side staff to come up with ideas for projects and deliver these to groups at the Skills & Enterprise Hub. We also have rooms avaible to hire for your personal use. You will receive the same training and support as our staff. We also have space available for artists to hire, either for a small cost or in return for volunteering with us and passing on your skills and enjoyment of activities.
An awareness of the needs vulnerable adults and adults with disabilities may have • Willing to share skills and experience with others • Someone with patience, good communication skills, willing to attend training. All volunteers would have to undertake a DBS process (criminal records check). This requires being able to supply two references and certain documentation such as a birth certificate, driving license or passport. Volunteers must be aged 18 years or over.
The Skills and Enterprise Hub runs daily Monday-Friday 9.00am-4.00pm. We are looking for people who can help for a minimum of half a day a week during these times.
